Calcium / Aluminum Master Alloy (Ca-Al)
Lead-calcium (Pb-Ca) grid alloys enhance grid mechanical strength, minimize electrolyte electrolysis (water loss), and improve corrosion resistance.
Due to the reactive nature of pure calcium and the challenges of direct alloying, Ca-Al master alloys provide a highly efficient, protected mechanism to introduce calcium and aluminum simultaneously into molten lead baths with minimal dross.
